This week in reading we were learning about text to self, text to text and text to world. Or Making connections this is when you make connections with the story. Like if you remember losing something precious because you started reading the story and 1 of the characters did the same as you.  The easy part is everything pretty much There was not a hard part it was all easy. That is it.

Reflective

Last week we made a hinaki out of bamboo wire and a bag. It looked really cool it was really sturdy and creative. But we did not catch any tunas because our hole for the tunas to go in was to big.
Also there was nothing to trap them.

Things we need to work on

put a sock on the end of the opening

use stronger bait

PRIME NUMBERS

                                                     PRIME NUMBERS

This is a prime number 43 because it is divisible by itself. Here are some more prime numbers. 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97, , and more. This is not a prime number 15. Numbers that are not prime numbers are called composites. 15 is not a divisible by itself it has more than two factors that is why its a composite.  5x3 = 15  3x5= 15  15x1=15  1x15=15 it has more than 2 factors.

MY EEL REPORT WRITING

TITLE EELS       EELS SCIENTIFIC NAME Anguilliformes
Opening statement
Did you know the most biggest eel is conger Eel. The most deadly one is a giant moray Eel. Eels may look like  snakes, but they are actually fish. There are over 800 different species of eels. eels are known to travel as far as 4,000 kilometers  to breed. Despite its name, the electric eel is not an eel it's a fish they are called Knife fish eel. The Knife Fish eel is a delicacy in some cultures, but it's blood is toxic, so it needs to be cooked thoroughly.
Habitat
Did you know that Eels pretty much don't have a home because they move all the time . The only time they stop is when they wait for food or to sleep. They also travel 5,000 kilometers . They travel so far that people cant stay with them when they are migrating. but they are mostly found in sea water when they are migrating and most eels hide and live in caves and rocks. They also burrow in the sand.
Appearance
Size of the Moray eel depends on the species. It ranges in length from 6 inches to 15 feet. Average weight of the moray eels is 30 pounds. Moray eel has a long and slender body which resembles to a snake, but they do not belong to the group of reptiles - they are true fish. Moray eel has a long dorsal fin which runs from the head to the tail. Most moray eels lack pectoral and pelvic fins. Pectoral fins are the ones closest to the eels gills. Also the pelvic fins are the one closest to the lateral line.

Image result for where are the pectoral and pelvic fins on a eel
DIET
Eels eat anything that's available like bugs frogs anything that they can eat that is small. The eels also eat sea snails baby sharks crabs water worms ducks birds anything that can fit in they're mouth and bait that people use to catch eels.

CLOSING STATEMENT
Eels will not be extinct for a while because there are over 800 species of eels they're would probably be over a billion eels Eels also disappear if you try and follow them to where they're going They travel so far it would be hard to stay with them.

Reflctive

Today I learnt to co operate with a team in cooperative games. The only way to win was to communicate with your teammates. One of our team members got a growling because he was not focused and he was mucking around too much  there was less people and we could finish faster. The easy part was when you get the bag and run to the place and back. The hard part was getting my teammate to focus.
